🌱 Monte Alto Farm – Arias Family

Finca Monte Alto is one of two farms operated by Cafe Directo, a family business founded in 2013 by father-daughter team Gerardo and Jennifer Arias. The farm is dedicated to the production, processing, and marketing of the finest coffees from Tarrazú, Costa Rica, in harmony with the environment. Cafe Directo's vision is to contribute to the development of our society through fair and ethical trade.

Its founders have over thirty years of experience in the production and processing of specialty micro-batches, including natural, honey yellow, red and black, anaerobic, semi-washed and fully washed.

Monte Alto is, as expected, the higher of the two farms, with elevations of up to 2,000 m above sea level, which favors the production of highly complex Arabica coffees.
