Colombian specialty coffee produced by the Paeces tribes on small estates in Inza, in the Tierradentro region (western Cauca), Colombia.

This is a Castillo and Caturra varietal with a wet benefit of washed process and aerobic fermentation.

After tasting, we find a chocolatey coffee, highlighting flavors of dark caramel, orange, plum and nutmeg. We will appreciate a balanced body and acidity.

Produced by Paeces tribes on small estates in Inza

This coffee is produced by small coffee growers in the municipality of Inza, which is part of the Tierradentro region, located in western Cauca. This region is 80% inhabited by the indigenous tribe called Paeces. The average farm size is 0.5 to 1.5 hectares.

We collaborate with our friends at Occicafe and Globalcafe, through whom we can have a direct relationship with the farmers and better control the quality. The farmers own small plots where they grow coffee at 1700 meters above sea level and the crops are mainly Castillo and Caturra.

This coffee has been fermented in water for approximately 24-36 hours. After fermentation, the coffee has been sun dried on patios and raised beds until reaching a moisture content of approximately 10-11%.

Up to 52 cups of coffee (0.24€/cup)*
