It is a heirloom varietal with a wet mill from a washed process and aerobic fermentation.
After the tasting we found a floral coffee, highlighting flavors of stone fruits, orange and violet. We will appreciate a creamy texture and medium intensity.

About Matunda
Matunda is produced by a cooperative in which a large number of producers participate. It was founded in 2009 and supported by the Government in order to respond to the needs of Kenyan coffee growers and thus be able to have more control over marketing. and on its own production in order to obtain higher net returns and address various challenges faced by the coffee sector related to production, quality , marketing and value added to coffee .
About Nyeri region
The coffee region is located north of the capital of Kenya, it has an estimated population of 695,558 inhabitants and its area is 3,3371.1 km². This region has 7 coffee-growing districts that are home to more than 78,000 families that cultivate more than 12,480 hectares of Arabica coffee of the varietals SL28, K7, Ruiru11 and Batian, Nyeri occupies 2nd place as a coffee-growing region in the country.
